For a village of some 7,500 odd people (and I do mean odd) it sometimes seems as if we have at least 8,500 eccentrics. Perhaps that's the pull of the place. What if local business and civic leaders launched a Marin or "just" a Sausalito version of Sonoma County's innovative
GoLocal Cooperative? That county above us used the free Ning option to launch their community movement. We have Buy Local banners around town yet locals do not see obvious benefits for them to follow up in some way.
